Meet Kelly Hancock

Kelly, a Fort Worth native, local businessman, and dedicated family man, has served in the Texas Legislature sinceswearin 2007. Throughout his time in the Texas House of Representatives and Texas Senate, Kelly has shown strong leadership in advocating for core conservative values of limited government, lower taxes, and traditional family values. He has extensive experience in the public and private sector and understands what it takes to keep the Texas economy on an upward trajectory.
Born at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, Kelly has spent his whole life in Fort Worth and the Mid-Cities area. It is there that he learned the values of integrity, hard work, and most importantly, faith.

Eleven years ago, in the playroom of his house, Kelly and his brother, Cary, formed their family-founded company. Over the years, they have watched it grow to become one of the most respected companies in the Metroplex. In 2006, it was named the “Small Business of the Year” by the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. As a business owner, Kelly has witnessed, first-hand, how onerous regulations can negatively affect local businesses and our economy. Kelly is a hard-working businessman who will continue to do what it takes to reduce our unemployment rate and keep Texans working.

Having served three terms in the Texas House of Representatives and two terms in the State Senate, Kelly has established a reputation of someone who can be counted on to support a balanced state budget, lower taxes and greater individual freedoms. He has been recognized as a “Courageous Conservative,” a “Champion of Small Business” and a “Lone Star Conservative Leader.”

Kelly and his wife, Robin, were both graduates of Richland High School and Baylor University. They have been happily married for 29 years and have three children: Chloe, Skylar, and Harrison. Shortly after the birth of his first child, Chloe, Kelly began his commitment to public service by serving the next 13 years on the Birdville ISD School board.

With Kelly as our state senator, North Texans can rest easy knowing the conservative values we hold dear will be protected and defended in the Texas Legislature.
