Bolen Endorses Hancock

40 Precinct Chairs Endorse Hancock this Week, Hancock Builds $400,000 War Chest

Former Fort Worth Mayor Bob Bolen today endorsed State Representative Kelly Hancock in the election for Texas State Senate, District 10.

“Mayor Bolen has been one of the most sought after Fort Worth endorsements for more than 20 years,” said Hancock. “I cannot fully express how honored I am to have his support.”

“Kelly Hancock is a young energetic man with experience. With so many key Senate retirements, there is a huge demand for new leadership. We need new, young, energetic, intelligent people like Kelly Hancock. I am proud to support him,” said Bolen.

Joining Bolen in supporting Hancock, this week 40 Republican Precinct Chairs from across the 10th Senate District. Grassroots Republicans are uniting behind Hancock’s conservative record.

“The election to re-take Senate District 10 is one of the most important to Texas Republicans this year,” said Hancock. “It gives me great confidence to know that grassroots Republican leaders have joined with me in this important race.”

Hancock also announced that his campaign “war chest” has reached the $400,000 mark.

“Sufficient funding is critical to this effort,” said Hancock. “I am happy we have reached this milestone so quickly.”

Hancock was named the "Legislator of the Year" by the Texas Fire Chiefs Association and was given the "Katie Sherrod Advocacy Award" for helping victims of domestic violence. Hancock has also been named a "Champion for Free Enterprise" by the Texas Association of Business and
a "Taxpayer Hero" by the Texans for Fiscal Responsibility.

Hancock is a graduate of Baylor University. He owns Advanced Chemical Logistics, his family-founded chemical distribution company. Kelly and his wife, Robin, have been married 24 years and have three children: Chloe, Skylar and Harrison. The Hancocks are involved in the community through their participation in school, church and community events.
